Inclusive by Design:
Innovating Music Accessibility for Educators

At a dynamic workshop in February 2025, hosted by the Tri-Borough Hub in London, secondary school educators got an inside look at a day in the life of a professional music producer. Led by Jay, the session spotlighted mainstream music gear—many of which have only recently been made accessible.

But the real headline? A powerful shift in mindset:
Educators aren’t here to make things easier. They’re here to make them possible.

Special thanks to Tim Carroll, Focusrite/Novation's dynamic CEO who took the time to attend and offer insight into the mindset needed make the commitment to accessibility. Jay has been working together with the forward thinking company since 2019 and was excited to demonstrate with Tim the amazing Auto Gain feature on the 4th Generation Scarlett audio interface which, though mainstream, is a game-changer with regards to accessibility. This is true universal access!

Kudos to Stuart Whatmore, Evie Asio and Louisa Roberts, all key players at the Tri-Borough Hub, working together towards access for all.
